Jason Cleffi Retracts Statement

Jason Cleffi, owner of AJACO Towing. Inc., has issued the following public statement regarding earlier statements he made in regard to the suspension of an employee:

“At the time of the incident on August 16, 2021 with the police present, my brother was not acting as an employee of AJACO Towing, Inc. After extensive review of the video tapes and after finally speaking with my brother about the events of that day it was determined that the man with the Instagram user name of mr_str8money loitered for 6 plus hours in and around both my place of business, which resides on the property my brother owns.

The false allegations about my company must be redacted by the Mayor and the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Information Office so that the needed rescue of my 27-year-old company can be over and we can begin the recovery of our long-standing good name in the Parsippany community that I love.”

Mayor Michael A. Soriano made a libelous press release branding AJACO Towing, Inc. as a company that condones racism, which is not and has never been true.
